Description

A cresent-shaped shawl, knit in fingering/4-ply weight yarn, inspired by the comet Neowise. Located amongst the stars, with a leafy border, this shawl has long tails just like the comet, to wrap yourself up in whilst gazing at the stars.

The instructions are both written and charted out, and a tally chart is provided with repeat quantities and stitch counts throughout the pattern.

Yardage requirements: 800 – 820 yards (732 – 750m)
Yarn weight: Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi)
Gauge: 23 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches/10cm in miniature leaf lace pattern
Needle size: US 4 – 3.5 mm
Finished size: wingspan – 87″/221cm, depth – 22″/56cm
